Writing in Plain Language for Auditors

This course is offered in French.

Clear writing is critical for every stage of an audit, from planning documents to the final report. For auditors, explaining complex issues clearly can be challenging.
This course will teach you how to improve the clarity of your writing by applying the principles of plain language, in alignment with ISO 24495-1, the international standard for plain language writing. You will learn how to write with greater clarity, coherence and flow and produce texts that are easy to read and understand.

The course outlines the impact of today’s information environment and literacy levels, which can affect the ability of the target audience to read and understand information.
